Congratulations to Jan Goldsmith, our 2025 Industry Champion Award Recipient!

Join us in congratulating Jan Goldsmith (Zeller), who received this year’s Industry Champion Award!

Jan has served as Chair of the Codes Committee for 20 years. During her tenure, she has built strong relationships with City departments, resolved operational challenges for member buildings, and advanced building code reforms that improve efficiency for large office properties.

Most recently, Jan has led efforts to address the City of Chicago’s debt check policy. She highlighted the real-world impact on member buildings, from delayed construction to postponed tenant move-ins, and worked directly with City officials to push for meaningful change.
