Congratulations to Teresa Amaro, our 2025 Elizabeth Traczek Women in Commercial Real Estate Award recipient! 
As General Manager of Sterling Bay’s 311 West Monroe, Teresa leads an exceptional team and fosters a high-performing, collaborative environment.
She serves as Treasurer of the BOMA/Chicago Foundation, Vice Chair of the Scholarship Committee, Chair of the TOBY Judges Panel, and a member of the Diversity Committee. She launched the Foundation’s Financial Empowerment workshops, mentors RPA students, helped win an International TOBY Award at 250 S. Wacker and has 311 W. Monroe in the running this year, and was 2018 Property Manager of the Year!
In each leadership position, she pours her heart and soul into creating a supportive and collaborative environment, celebrating open dialogue and collective achievement. "I lead with intention, care, and honesty. And I also make sure to sprinkle a generous dose of fun into the mix!"
Teresa will accept the award and speak at our Women in CRE Luncheon on May 29.
ABOUT THE BETSY
Betsy Traczek was a member of the BOMA/Chicago Board of Directors, sat on the Labor Committee, volunteered as a Gold Circle Awards judge, and served as longtime chair of the Events Committee. Betsy gave 110%. This award was created in her memory to recognize women who have made a difference in our industry and acknowledge BOMA/Chicago’s female leaders.
