Affiliate Member Dues to be Equalized Across Categories for 2021

We are thankful for our BOMA/Chicago members. We appreciate the great support and numerous contributions from our members in support of the commercial real estate industry.

Representing the interests of the Chicago office building industry since 1902, BOMA/Chicago membership includes 239 member buildings (representing 80 percent of all rentable office space and more than 98 percent of Class A building rentable space) and 169 companies that provide commercial building services to support operational excellence.

This past year, BOMA/Chicago has provided critical programming, communications and services as our members face new challenges with the pandemic and social unrest. You can read more about our recent work here.

After a great deal of review and discussion, BOMA/Chicago has decided to change the dues structure for one of our Affiliate Member categories. Currently two different categories are offered for BOMA/Chicago Affiliate Membership: Professional and Supplier. While both of these membership categories receive the same benefits, the Professional Affiliate Membership category has been paying a different membership dues amount.

To create a fairer dues system across the two categories, annual dues for all Affiliate Members will be equalized effective January 2021. Supplier Affiliate Member dues will remain at $2,163.00 while Professional Affiliate Member dues will increase to match.

Member renewal invoices will be distributed in the next week. We look forward to serving our members and the commercial office industry for another year.
