Affiliate Members: Host a Lunch & Learn in 2019

Showcase your expertise to industry professionals within an intimate and educational environment by hosting a Lunch & Learn seminar.

As a BOMA/Chicago Affiliate Member, you are given the free opportunity to host this hour-long Lunch & Learn presentation to around 15 to 70 CRE professionals (including all members of the property management team). These seminars are held the third Wednesday of each month and are free for all members to attend. To host a Lunch & Learn, you must first submit a Lunch & Learn application. Don't wait...slots fill up quickly!

Please keep in mind that your hour-long presentation should feature a hot topic in CRE where you discuss techniques, best practices, products/services and resources to support CRE professionals. Although this is not a sales presentation, you will be able to:

  • Provide an explanation of your services to an attendance ranging from 15 to 70
  • Distribute brochures about your company
  • Hand out business cards to all participants
  • Conduct a Q&A at the end of your presentation
  • Network and expand your clientele through direct contact with Building Members

Also, a current trend BOMA/Chicago has noticed this year is that by offering lunch at a Lunch & Learn seminar, your registration numbers could reach upwards of 70 people. Keep that in mind as you plan ahead and budget for your Lunch & Learn!
