At the January 23 Lunch & Learn, Klein and Hoffman will review Chicago and Illinois-specific information about the unique challenges of installing new low-slope roof systems on existing buildings. This seminar will discuss:
- Roofing ground rules and code provisions reroofing projects must comply with
- How reroofing projects are different and more challenging compared to roof systems installed during original building construction
- Suggestions for working with roofing contractors and what to consider when selecting and working with roofing contractors and roof system designers
- How reroofing projects can be designed and planned to minimize problems and ensure an end product that will perform well for the long-term.
