Anthony Shadley, Sales Manager at Door Systems
After graduating from Northern Illinois University in 2010, Anthony began his career in education teaching at Kishwaukee Education Consortium. He focused on increasing achievement levels of both underperforming students by creating a productive work environment and building trust and rapport with his colleagues. In 2015, Anthony switched careers to follow a passion and enthusiasm for sales. He reached out to Door Systems, a company that his family has been a part of for three generations. Both his father and grandfather worked for the company before it became a part of ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems. He started in Business Development and was rapidly promoted to a Sales Consultant, Senior Sales Consultant, and now Sales Manager within 3 years. Anthony’s professional philosphy focuses on facilitating motivation and challenging others to surpass their current levels of achievement.
Mark Kohout, Business Developer at Door Systems
A seasoned sales veteran, Mark began his career with Door Systems at the end of 2017. Mark graduated from Minnesota State University with a B.A. in Management. He worked for Jostens Inc. for 17 years as an independent sales and marketing rep. He is an avid golfer and played four years of college golf with his team qualifying for the division II national tournament. Born and raised in Minnesota, he moved to the Western suburbs of Chicago where he still lives with his wife and two sons, with no plans of leaving anytime soon.
Joe Henson, Business Developer at Door Systems
One of the newest members of the Door Systems sales team, Joe joined the organization in May of 2018. A Florida native, Joe spent the majority of his life traveling the country with his family visiting more than 30 states each year and avoiding the cold. After graduating from University of Florida with a degree in Food and Resource Economics, specializing in agribusiness management and marketing, he began his career with Macy’s Inc. within their Executive Development Program (EDP). With unsurpassed performance in sales growth and talent development, Joe was recognized as the top EDP in the South region. With a love of adventure and a desire for change he decided to come to Chicago due to his close and extended families rich history here, and to finally experience a real Chicago winter.
