Brown Bag Seminars

Brown Bag seminars are hosted by Affiliate Members who share their expertise on a variety of topics related to managing operationally sound office buildings. Those who attend will gain insight from exert suppliers and consultants on how to best equip and protect their buildings. Brown Bags begin at noon and are held in the conference center of the Harris Bank Building (115 South LaSalle, Rooms 801/802).

Are you an Affiliate Member interested in hosting a Brown Bag?

As an Affiliate Member, one of your member benefits is to host a presentation about your area of expertise to Building Members during a Brown Bag seminar. BOMA/Chicago promotes the Brown Bag topic on your behalf, so take this opportunity to be front and center by submitting a Brown Bag speaker application.

Your hour-long presentation should feature a hot topic in CRE. Although this is not a sales presentation, you will be able to:

  • Describe your services to an attendance ranging between 10 to 60
  • Distribute brochures about your company
  • Hand out business cards to all participants
  • Spend an additional half hour at the end of the seminar conducting a Q&A
  • Network with Building Members

Please direct all questions and completed applications to Jaclynne Madden, Marketing & Education Program Manager, at 312-870-9608 or jmadden@bomachicago.org.
