Organization Profile BOMA/Chicago represents 260 buildings housing private, institutional and government/public uses in the City of Chicago and 150 companies that provide services to commercial office buildings. BOMA/Chicago members make up 80 percent of Chicago’s downtown total rentable building area and 90 percent of rentable space in Class A buildings downtown.
Key Economic Contributions BOMA/Chicago buildings house more than 250,000 jobs at nearly 8,000 companies including 5,731 local businesses, 1,414 national companies and 662 international corporations throughout the city. BOMA/Chicago members also provide more than $650 million in annual property taxes
