BOMA/Chicago 2012-13 TOBY/Gold Circle Awards Winners
Congratulations to the winners of the BOMA/Chicago TOBY and Gold Circle Awards announced at the Gala Awards dinner and reception January 31, 2013 in the Great Hall at Union Station. More than 480 members attended the awards dinner and reception. Phil Rogers, WMAQ-TV/Channel 5 reporter, served as emcee along with George Kohl, BOMA/Chicago 2013 President.

Twelve buildings competed in five categories for the local The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Award. Thanks to all who participated in this great evening for Chicago's office building industry.

The buildings below will compete in the North Central Regional BOMA District TOBY competition.

BOMA/Chicago 2012-13 TOBY Winners:

  • 250,000 – 499,999 Square Feet Category: 303 West Madison Street, managed by CBRE and owned by 303 Madison Chicago, LLC. This is the third consecutive year 303 West Madison Street won this category.

  • 500,000 – One Million Square Feet Category: 191 North Wacker Drive, managed by Manulife Real Estate and owned by Manulife Financial.

  • Over One Million Square Feet Category: 300 South Riverside Plaza, managed by Means Knaus Partners and owned by South Riverside Building, LLC.

  • Earth Award Category: 515 North State Street, managed by U.S. Equities Realty and owned by UBS.

  • Historical Building Category:  The LaSalle Wacker, managed by MB Real Estate Services and owned by
    221 North LaSalle Partners, LLC.
